Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Stewardship & Visual Identity
Guard and evolve Ruby’s brand guidelines, ensuring aesthetic consistency, accessibility, and relevance.
Create scalable visual systems that extend across digital, packaging, and in-store.
Collaborate with marketing and content to maintain consistent communication hierarchy in all creatives.
2. Design Leadership & Team Management
Lead and mentor designers, editors, and future design hires; foster ownership, speed, and quality.
Build workflows for efficient asset production without compromising creativity.
Balance creative exploration with structured delegation and review systems.
3. Marketing & Performance Design
Translate marketing objectives (TOFU / MOFU / BOFU) into distinct design directions for each stage of the funnel.
Build design templates and systems for social, ads, website, and CRM assets to ensure brand consistency at scale.
Work closely with the VP Marketing to ensure design supports measurable outcomes — CTR, engagement, conversion.
4. Product, Packaging & UX
Lead design development for new product packaging and rebranding exercises.
Ensure packaging communicates both brand identity and functional clarity.
Oversee UI/UX for website and digital experiences; work with developers to ensure execution fidelity.
5. Strategic Collaboration
Act as the creative bridge between marketing strategy, product storytelling, and consumer insight.
Present design concepts with rationale, linking aesthetic decisions to consumer behaviour and brand KPIs.
Stay ahead of design, sustainability, and beauty-industry trends to keep the brand relevant.
